How You Can Help

Southwest Service Dogs does not charge clients for a Service Dog. There is a mandatory minimum two-week training session that the client must complete in order to receive the dog and supplies.

We request donations or that a client "pay it forward" if they have the financial ability.  The dogs require ongoing health-care (and the first year with all those puppy vaccinations, spay/neutering and medical evaluations is generally the most expensive).  We have to raise more than $20,000 to cover the cost of raising, training and placing each service dog.

You can help us by making a monetary donation to help us continue this work.  Sponsorships are also available including the following:

For Students

Sponsor Student in Summer Camp    $400 After-school Student Sponsor            $350
Full Year Student Sponsor               $2,500 Annual School Program Sponsor  $35,000

Donate to Southwest Service Dogs

Southwest Service Dogs is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. As such we survive on grants, donations and the money that comes in from the children's programs that are offered. We receive no government funding.  Our biggest need is always money. If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to SWSD, please click on the Donate button at the bottom of any page to make a tax-deductible donation or mail your donation to: Box 321, Clarksville, Ar. 72830.  Thank you for thinking of us.

Wish List

Our Greatest Need is a building of our own.  We are currently renting a building that is too small for us to even hold Team Trainings in.  Please help us find a building that will work for our needs.  There are many vacant buildings in the River Valley and Little Rock area that would work very well for our needs.  A building of 10,000 sq ft. or more on a couple of acres would would help us greatly.  We are hoping for a donation of this building or a tax-deductible donation for a very low-cost, long term lease could be arranged.  Please contact us if you know of any possibilities 479/214-0766.
